We are looking for an HR Analyst for a 12-month contract position, with possible extensions in Calgary, Alberta.Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Hybrid schedule, at least 4 days in the office. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.
Role Description
The HR Systems team is committed to delivering excellent client care while upholding the highest standards of integrity in our HR operations. Our HR Systems team ensure that every touchpoint in the employee life cycle is managed with efficiency, expertise, and confidentiality.
We are seeking a highly skilled HR Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Manager, HR Systems, the HR Analyst is a key contributor to the efficient and reliable operations of the HR team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and optimizing HR systems, ensuring accurate and secure data management across the entire employee life cycle—from onboarding to offboarding. Your focus on client care, coupled with your technical expertise, will enable us to maintain operational excellence while providing a seamless and trusted experience for both employees and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service support both internally and externally to HR
Administer HR processes, including onboarding, position management, promotions, terminations, and leave administration, ensuring timely and accurate execution
Partner with HR to troubleshoot, configure, and enhance system functionality
Collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to manage and maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across the employee life cycle (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow)
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, internal security policies, and best practices, proactively mitigating risks to sensitive HR data
Perform regular audits and data clean-ups to maintain the accuracy and completeness of HR data
Provide system training and support to HR team members and other stakeholders to enhance system utilization and understanding
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring seamless implementation and minimal disruption to business operations
Support the system execution of the annual HR programs such as compensation cycles, and new grad and student cycles
Maintain knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and procedures
Lead or actively participate in projects to develop, review, and improve HR processes
Provide mentorship and training support to team members
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of direct experience with HR Systems or similar role
Strong experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP, ServiceNow)
Proficiency in HR data management, data integrity, and security best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver client-focused service
Strong analytical skills with ability to contribute to decisions and recommendations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with efficiency in a fast-paced environment
