About the role
Manager, Brand and content (Toronto, Montreal or Newfoundland) 15-month contract
You are a leader who enjoys working with motivated people, with a human management team that encourages questioning the status quo, as well as in a competitive industry that requires you to be agile and innovative? Then this position is for you!
This strategic role consists of assuming the leadership of resources and mandates related to brand, mass marketing and content strategy at the national level. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the various advertising, promotional, content and sponsorship projects that will allow the brand to achieve its business objectives. By working closely with the various internal teams, he/she will play a key role in developing business plans and go-to-market strategies for all our priority markets for belairdirect. The chosen candidate will have to demonstrate leadership and be an effective manager for his team.
This position reports directly to the Senior Marketing Director Direct Distribution
What you’ll do here:
Lead and supervise all of our campaigns, all channels combined; all while ensuring consistency with the brand.
Work at developing brand positioning, value propositions and messages grid that resonate with our target groups.
Support the team in achieving ambitious goals by ensuring a pleasant working environment.
Play an essential role as coach and ambassador of the marketing team.
Implement our marketing plans, both in terms of budget and results analysis.
Maintain the relationship with our partner agencies: creation and media. Keep them up to date with the challenges and successes of the company and guide them adequately in the development of impactful strategies and tactics that contribute to the success of our brand.
Renew the contracts with our partners.
Contribute to strategic marketing discussions as well as at corporate level in order to constantly optimize our marketing strategies.
Accountable for the results and objectives to be achieved in addition to respecting budgets and optimizing them in order to maximize our performance.
Deliver presentations to all levels of the company hierarchy
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in business administration (B.A.A.) or any other equivalent or higher degree
5-10 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a management position and staff coaching
Be a positive agent of change and have a developed sense of initiative
Efficient and resilient: can lead several initiatives simultaneously, manage pressure well and knows how to prioritize
Results oriented and demonstrates superior project and people management abilities
Concern for quality and accuracy
Autonomous and proactive: knows how to take advantage of a given situation
Has a sense of responsibility: can take charge of projects and is accountable for activities under his direction
Positive leader
Bilingualism, written and spoken - Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
