Salary range for the position is $74,618 to $107,264. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
How Will You Create An Impact
The Business Analyst, Financial Reporting builds reports and creates models and analyses to support the day-to-day operations and decisions of Interior Health (IH). The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring a strong integration of data inputs, processes and policy with financial information and reporting; coordinating an effective forecasting mechanism to assist Senior Executives’ ability to adjust and commit resources toward organizational priorities; and compiling cost analysis and aligning budgeted resources.

What Will You Work On
- Generates financial and statistical information for analysis and distribution.
- Performs quantitative, qualitative, and exploratory data analyses to enhance understanding of operational budget variances, trends, and pressures.
- Interprets and translates analysis into clear, easily understood findings and insights.
- Reconciles data to ensure accuracy.
- Builds, modifies, and creates recurring and ad hoc reports using disparate data sources and large volumes of detailed data.
- Prepares Financial Summaries for period end reporting cycles.
- Coordinates an effective forecasting mechanism to assist leadership’s ability to adjust and commit resources toward organizational priorities.
- Compiles cost analysis and receives budget plans for allocating and aligning planned resources.
- Navigates and guides internal clientele through financial policy, procedures, and processes.
- Coordinates capital planning documents and prepares capital monitoring reports.
- Proactively identifies process improvements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
