Transportation Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Transportation Manager to oversee and manage our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize delivery efficiency
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance transportation processes
- Supervise transportation staff, providing guidance and support for daily operations
- Maintain high standards of safety and environment across all transportation activities.
- Procure transportation services and negotiate contracts with carriers
- Monitor operational costs, budgets, and resources, implementing measures to reduce costs and improve service.

- Handle emergencies and resolve conflicts or issues that arise during operations.

- Prepare and submit invoices for completed transportation services.

Experience:
- Proven experience in transport management, logistics, or a related field
- Strong background in supervising transportation operations and staff
- Knowledge of civil construction operation and materials management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement continuous improvement strategies in transport operations

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
