```Duties```
- Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Assist in cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and fittings
- Assist in testing plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
- Learn to install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
```Experience```
- Previous experience in HVAC, welding, or other mechanical trades is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths are required
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems is beneficial
- Familiarity with hand tools used in plumbing work is desired
- Ability to work with power tools safely is a plus
