About the opportunity:
The Sales Analyst is responsible for providing support to the Food Service & Distributor sales team in business analysis as well as management of centrally administered FS marketing, freight, and bill back deductions including review and approval.
The attributes we are looking for:
· Provide support to the Food Service and Distributor Sales teams by preparing quarterly / annual customer business reviews including analysis of raw data and presentation material such as charts and graphs.
· Assist the Regional Director, FS and Distributor sales Accounts Sales in preparing materials for contract negotiations / request for proposals (“RFP’s”) and other major business initiatives by completing financial, volume and competitive analysis as required.
· Maintain contract pricing templates for designated national and regional distributors by applying price increases and updating product lists
· Assist the Regional Director, FS and Distributor sales Accounts Sales in review of pricing of products between customers and regions by providing pricing data for comparison.
· Provide customer service, problem analysis and resolution, and internal communication for the business; engaging, cross-functional support for customer requirements related to demand planning, logistics, shared services, and quality.
· Analyze current BW data and provide Supply Chain cross functional team with adjustments to customer and category sales forecasts in SAP to ensure updates are made on a timely basis.
· Administer all aspects of clearing for designated distributor deductions by reconciling deductions against contracts. If they meet requirements, forwards to internal resources, if they do not then detailed explanations are provided to applicable sales member for resolution with customer.
· Prepare monthly reports by collecting and compiling consolidated deduction and allowance data for review by management, sales and customer as required.
What you will bring:
· College Diploma with a concentration in accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Accounting designation such as CGA or CMA an asset.
· Three (3) to five (5) years related administrative accounting experience
· Proficient with standard office computer technology including Office 365, Microsoft Word with advanced strength in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SAP BW environment
· Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
· Self-starter who is able to work in a team as well as independently
· Solid time management skills with ability to multi-task
· Well-developed organizational and communication skills, both written and oral skills
· Assertive where and as required to ensure accuracy of detail required from all participants
· Proactive problem-solving skills
