Laser Technician

Lase Away is a Brampton-based medi-spa and we have been in business since 2021. We will be expanding our business to a unit this June and are looking for two full-time laser technicians to join our team. The unit is located in a brand new plaza at 11685 McVean Drive, Brampton, ON.

Criteria:

• Laser technician certification required
• Female, 18 years of age
• Must be highly experienced with the Soprano laser hair removal machine (any Soprano model is fine) *WE ARE ONLY CONSIDERING EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS*
• Must be a quick learner and adaptable to change - Training will be provided on the settings and techniques that we use. We use many different settings and techniques, so you must be a fast learner to pick this up.
• Must come to work everyday, on time, as scheduled
• Must have strong customer service skills to respond to client concerns in a professional manner
• Must have strong communication skills (fluent English is required, Punjabi/Hindi/Urdu is an asset)
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This is a physical role and you will be required to stand for up to 5 hours at a time.
• Must have a positive attitude, be clean, organized, and detail-oriented

Details:

• 1 year contract (minimum time required to work with us, but we prefer employees who will stay with us permanently)
• Shift: You may need to work up to 51 hours/week, 5 days a week if we are fully booked (10.5 hour weekdays and 9 hour Saturdays). Your hours will vary every week depending on how many bookings we receive. We expect to open from 9am-7:30pm on weekdays and 9am-6pm on Saturdays. We will be closed on Sundays and statutory holidays. Statutory holidays will be paid.

Responsibilities:

• Use the Soprano laser hair removal machine efficiently and effectively to treat all body areas (women's full body and men's upper body)
• Carry out consultations with clients - answer client questions effectively
• Process and record payments if receptionist is away
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to the spa's cleaning schedule
• Clean and refill ultrasound gel bottles (used for laser hair removal treatments)
• Wash, dry, and fold sheets and towels

Pay: $20.00 per hour
