Position Summary
We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our Production Team. The position requires extensive knowledge of apparel construction and manage the production process of multiple programs to help us take our designs from concept to manufacture product. This role required effective communication with overseas vendors along with exceptional project and time management skills. Primary duties include reviewing tech packs, approving samples and submissions, ensuring that the finished product achieves the quality standards of Mad Engine and meets delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Create detailed technical specification packages for overseas suppliers for both costing and production purposes.

Communicate with internal teams regarding program status, tasks, questions, and issues.

Collaborate with team and factory throughout production to ensure that customer requirements and timelines are met and that all issues or problems are resolved prior to bulk production.

Coordinate fit reviews with technical designers to ensure it is consistent with the original design intent.

Handle daily communication with overseas vendors for assigned programs.

Review and approve factory submissions (i.e., lab dips, strike-offs, pp samples, etc.) in conjunction with the PD/Sales team.

Prepare and maintain seasonal list and routine status reporting (WIP).

Communicate directly with factories on production and shipment status.

Follow-up with licensing teams on approvals to ensure on time delivery of goods.

Prepare and send out all sourcing/counter/sales parcels, as required.

Other duties to be assigned, as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications

Must have 3-5 years of experience in Production position or equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion design is an asset

Knowledge of fabric, print techniques, and garment construction.

Strong knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photo Shop, Microsoft Excel, etc.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Must be organized and good communicator
