Training Coordinator for provincial government agency client, Etobicoke location.


Marberg Job Number: 2363.

Job Type: Temporary.

Initial Term: ASAP for approximately 6 months.

Compensation: $31.34 per hour.

Regular Work Hours: 7.25 hours per day not including 1 hour unpaid lunch break, to be worked during regular business hours, Monday to Friday (36.25 work hours per week).

Work Location: Hybrid - combination of 2 days remote-based and 3 days onsite at client's Etobicoke facility, with free parking provided.


Responsibilities Summary:

Support management and maintenance of accurate training and compliance documentation records in support of operational excellence strategy.

  • Run and manage training completion reports for required training programs.
  • Send monthly emails detailing training record status, including assignments, completions, and outstanding items.
  • Collect, manage, and file all training completion certificates.
  • Assist with scheduling training sessions, and related training coordination tasks.
  • Document and store attendance sheets for both instructor-led training and virtual instructor-led training sessions.
  • Additional training program support functions as required.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

Preferred Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in administrative support, training coordination, or similar role.

Preferred Sector Experience: Experience with adult learning and development programs a strong asset.


Technical and Language Skills Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlooks (will be tested).
  • Superior data entry skills and attention to detail (will be tested).
  • General familiarity with database applications and data management processes.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, including proficient business writing skills and professional telephone manners.

  • Pleasant and courteous. Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional representation of the organization.
  • Proven ability to professionally handle confidential information and exercise good judgement in the interpretation and application of instructions and organization policy.
  • Superior attention to detail, and organized, methodical approach to completion of tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, and liaise effectively with a wide and diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.


Additional Requirements:

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, providing satisfactory documentation upon request.
  • Ability to work both remotely and onsite, abiding by organization health and safety policies.
  • Ability to declare personal Non-Conflict of Interest in execution of assignment responsibilities.
  • Provision of certification of AODA and OHSA online training course completion prior to assignment start.
  • Satisfactory Background Checks, Technical Skills Evaluations, and Employment References.
