Job Title: Part-Time Research Coordinator
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Research Coordinator to join our team at the Maritime Dermatology Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dermatological research and a strong background in clinical trials, and must reside in Nova Scotia.
Key Responsibilities:
Study Coordination: Assist in the planning, execution, and management of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Participant Recruitment: Engage with potential study participants, conduct eligibility assessments, and obtain informed consent.
Data Management: Collect, organize, and analyze data related to clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of trial activities, including regulatory documents, participant information, and study protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff, investigators, and external partners to facilitate smooth trial operations.
Monitoring: Regularly monitor trial progress, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise.
Reporting: Prepare progress reports and assist in the submission of necessary documentation to regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
Location: Must reside in Nova Scotia.
Experience: Previous experience in clinical trials, preferably in a healthcare or dermatology setting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., life sciences, nursing) is preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail. Proficiency in data management and analysis software is a plus.
Knowledge: Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Flexibility: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
