We are seeking a
Learning and Development Analyst Student for our
North American Headquarters (Edmonton, AB) who is available for
4 months starting in
January 2025.
As a Learning And Development Analyst Student And Depending On Your Assigned Project, You Will Have The Opportunity To Contribute To Our Team By
- Assists with the design and management of system reporting to support company metrics & KPIs. The focus is on training records in PCL's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Completes LMS maintenance tasks such as catalog clean-up, evaluating and entering new Learning Objects, and updating learning resources (reference guides and videos)
- Audits system data to ensure record integrity and analyzes data to identify and recommend opportunities for optimization.
- Tests LMS functionality and new system releases.
- Troubleshoots and provides technical support to LMS administrators and users, including Service Now tickets and inquiries.
- Participates in stakeholder meetings to understand business needs and requirements.
- Assists with developing standards and processes to reflect current state.
- Researches and makes recommendations for best practices and industry trends.
- Applies principles of time management to track tasks/deadlines and provides regular updates to immediate supervisor.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- Ability to think logically and analytically
- Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team to tackle problems
- Ability to communicate with other team members and groups, constructively expressing ideas and concepts
- Writing skills for training guides, online learning scripts, and proposals.
- Knowledge/skills in of some or all of the following is an asset:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- PowerBI and/or Tableau (dashboards)
- Visio Professional (process development)
- Cornerstone LMS (learning management system)
- Service Now (technical service tickets)
- SharePoint and/or Egnyte (document storage and management)
