Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance activities across the facility, with a specific focus on food manufacturing equipment. This role requires hands-on experience in the repair, maintenance, and optimization of machinery critical to food production processes, including but not limited to predust, batter, breading, fryers, ovens, spiral freezers, Ishida weight scales, and Pacmac baggers. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency, while adhering to all health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance mechanics and helpers in troubleshooting and diagnosing repairs of food manufacturing equipment.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment including predust, batter, breading, fryers, ovens, spiral freezers, Ishida weight scales, and Pacmac baggers.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
Monitor parts usage, manage inventory, and coordinate the ordering of replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
Ensure the accurate completion and documentation of work orders and maintenance records.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with state working regulations, health, and safety standards.
Lead by example in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Identify and report hazards, and ensure all team members adhere to safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment as required.
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment performance and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a maintenance management role within the food manufacturing industry.
Extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with food processing equipment, particularly predust, batter, breading, fryers, ovens, spiral freezers, Ishida weight scales, and Pacmac baggers.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce them effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
