Job Title: Senior Project Controls Specialist - PRISM (Contruent) & SAP


Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist with expertise in PRISM (Contruent) and SAP to support the management and execution of a large portfolio of over 600 projects. The role focuses on project cost control, reporting, and data integration, playing a key role in the development and implementation of strategic action plans across multiple teams and departments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the project portfolio, PMO procedures, project categorization, cost coding structures, integrated change management, and data sources.
  • Conduct a gap analysis of the current PRISM (Contruent) implementation, identify challenges, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders including Project Teams, Data Governance, Estimating, Project Controls, Change Coordinators, and Schedulers to implement action plans.
  • Identify and address data integration challenges across systems like IFS, CMS, and SAP (WBS/WFS).
  • Develop and oversee the implementation plan for integrating over 600 projects into PRISM (Contruent).
  • Assist in the creation of custom reports using PRISM (Contruent) Report Writer.
  • Provide training and support to Administrators, Super Users, and other users on PRISM (Contruent).


Qualifications and Experience:

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Capital Project Cost Control processes, systems, tools, and project reporting.
  • Expertise in Project Cashflow management, Incurred Cost set-up, Time-Phased Distribution, schedule and cost integration, and Change Management.
  • Proven experience in Earned Value Analysis, Progress and Performance reporting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with PRISM (Contruent) and SAP, including data integration, reporting, and data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Power BI and Excel (advanced use of spreadsheets, graphs, and macros).
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.


Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related discipline or a closely related field.
  • 10 years of experience in project controls, ideally within project management, construction, or engineering environments.
  • AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) certification is a plus.
