We are seeking a NetSuite Administrator with a strong focus on manufacturing and distribution to manage and optimize our NetSuite platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the complexities within these industries and the ability to leverage NetSuite's functionalities to drive operational efficiency and growth. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, business acumen, and industry knowledge to ensure seamless operations and data accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the NetSuite system, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
- Configure and customize NetSuite modules, including financials, WMS, inventory, manufacturing, and order management to align with business processes.
- Develop and maintain custom objects, scripts, and workflows to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and streamline operations.
- Manage EDI integration, setup, and troubleshooting to facilitate smooth data exchange with customers and suppliers.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced saved searches and custom reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, and optimize business processes.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving inquiries promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with NetSuite updates, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Map current business processes to NetSuite best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of NetSuite enhancements and process improvements.
Requirements:
- 5 years of proven experience as a NetSuite Administrator or a NetSuite Consultant with a strong focus on manufacturing and distribution industries.
- In-depth knowledge of NetSuite core functionalities, including financials, inventory, manufacturing, order management, and EDI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and develop solutions.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing and distribution business processes, including work order management, bill of materials (BOMs), routing, costing, and inventory control.
- Experience working with third-party NetSuite modules such as WMS, and other industry-specific solutions.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in developing and implementing NetSuite workflows to optimize business processes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot NetSuite scripts to identify and resolve issues.
- Proven track record in leading or participating in NetSuite implementations or subsidiary setups.
- Proficiency in handling large data sets and performing bulk updates and changes
Certifications and technical requirements:
- NetSuite Suite Foundation Certification required
- NetSuite Administrator Certification required
- NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification required
- NetSuite Application Developer Certification considered an asset
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to understand xml request and response files generated by the system
- PMP Certification is an asset
