The Municipality of Huron East is seeking a skilled Recreation Facility Operator to join our team.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Recreation Facility Supervisor to assist with the parks and recreation day-to-day program and mechanical operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining safe clean and attractive parks and facilities, and provide customer service to the public users of the parks and facilities.
Applicants should possess a secondary school diploma. Applicants will be required to obtain a ORFA Certified Ice Technician or Basic Arena Refrigeration certification. Candidate must have or be willing to complete First Aid/CPR with AED certification, Propane Safety Certification, Working at Heights Training. The candidate must provide and maintain a clean Criminal Reference and Vulnerable Sector Check. Preference may be given to those applicants with experience in a recreation setting.
The salary range for this position is $28.69 - $32.29 per hour. This full time position offers an attractive benefit packages, and three weeks of vacation to start.
