Factors Group are looking to hire a Supply Planner to join our team in this hybrid role in Coquitlam! Are you a seasoned Procurement professional with a knack for navigating the complexities of manufacturing supply chains? We're on the lookout for a Supply Planner who thrives in the fast-paced world of manufacturing. If you bring expertise in planning, procurement, and a solid manufacturing background, we want to hear from you. Join our team and drive the implementations of detailed supply plans driven by sales forecasts. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless operations by fostering strong internal stakeholder relationships, optimizing inventory, and keeping our production lines running smoothly.

You have:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2 years experience in planning and procurement within the manufacturing, pharmaceutical or nutraceutical industries in a high volume / high mix environment.
  • A continuous improvement mindset. We are a growing company and not all of our processes have kept up with our growth. If you can help us come up with ideas for better process and action it would be great
  • Proficiency in Excel, with a talent for data analysis and modeling.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple priorities.
You’re good at:
  • Driving procurement excellence by strategically planning raw materials and monitoring MRP reports for optimal efficiency.
  • Maintaining agile responses to shifting demands by orchestrating timely adjustments to material availability.
  • Harnessing your forecasting prowess to accurately predict demand and synchronize inventory levels with supplier partners.
  • Fostering strong internal relationships with teams including demand planning, sales, inventory, QC, QA and more, through proactive communication and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Utilizing your manufacturing expertise to mitigate risks and ensure uninterrupted operations in the face of challenges.
