Lawyer

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled defence Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in legal research, writing, and negotiation, with a focus on criminal and quasi-criminal defence.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research to support cases and provide legal advice
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and agreements
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable settlements
- Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or other law degree degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in legal drafting and research
- Strong negotiation skills
- Familiarity with Lexis-Nexis or similar legal research tools
