A Library Page handles various duties around the sorting and organizing of books and materials on the shelves.Duties: Sorts, organizes and prepares library materials for shelvingretrieves and shelves materials as requiredassists with preparation of displays of library materialsmay be asked to assist with seasonal/event/holiday displaysanswers directional questions and refers to informational questions to appropriate stafftidies public areas of library as requiredother duties and projects as requiredRequirements: Must be a full time studentMust qualify for a Social Insurance NumberAbility to follow written and verbal instructionAptitude for detailed workAbility to accurately file numerically and alphabeticallyPunctual and reliableAbility to communicate with courtesy, tact and interest with staff and all sectors of the publicPhysically able to handle book bins, boxes of books and loaded book trucksIf you meet all of the requirements listed above, then we would like to hear from you!
