In this position, you’ll be at the heart of advancing excellence within our Integrated Management System (IMS). You’ll guide the development and coordination of Safety, Health, Environment and Regulatory Relations (SHERR) training and awareness materials while communicating essential policies, objectives, and audit results. You’ll engage in field inspections and support a variety of projects with communication plans, all while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. What You’ll Accomplish
Assist with the Exploration Department Integrated Management System (IMS) including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Help convey key elements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including policies, objectives, targets, significant environmental aspects/hazards, and audits/inspections results to Orano Exploration staff
Develop and coordinate SHERR training, general awareness materials, records, and communications
Support reporting on IMS performance to the VP, Exploration and Manager, Exploration Projects and Strategy as basis for improvement and management review of the IMS
Assist with reporting to regulatory agencies and other departments as required (ie. safety statistics, CSR reporting)
Perform field inspections of Exploration projects
Support projects as needed, including; developing communication plans, setting up communication devices, addressing specific project risks, ordering necessary SHERR safety supplies, and monitoring radiation protection dosage.
Perform regulatory review of environmental and other pertinent legislation/requirements
Take part in internal and external committees/advisory groups as needed
Collaborate with the SHERR Exploration Technician as necessary; including, but not limited to, reviewing permit conditions for projects

Qualities And Skills We’re Seeking
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Geology or similar)
Familiar with conducting audits and the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
One to three years relevant experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Capable of enforcing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements and effectively communicating the results of investigations
Ensures accuracy of information and attention to detail
Ability to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact and develop effective working
relationships
Demonstrated ability speak publicly and present information
Excellent time management skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Familiarity with the relevant regulations (federal and provincial) and standards (ISO 14001/45001) is an asset

Saskatoon Corporate Office
Frequent field inspections and audits (exploration and mine sites) including third party sites
