We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team!
This position will be responsible for producing certification documents and invoicing documents including support of the QA/QC programs at Patriot Forge Co. Brantford and Paris locations
Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
- Review shop orders and related paperwork for accuracy and completeness
- Produce certification packages and invoicing documents
- Monitor status of orders that are waiting for further information - prompt personnel as necessary to ensure paperwork processing does not get stalled
- Interacts with other departments, customers and suppliers as related to the completion or version of product certifications
- Scanning, transposing and/or filing of Quality System Record Information
- Provides back up for review of test results for pass/fail, initiates rework forms
- Must be able to work in a team environment and be prepared to back-up partner
Secondary Duties:
- Administer/follow up on NCR system
- Maintains QA training matrix and training record archives
- Provides other Quality Assurance related duties as assigned
- Assist with calibration records
- Entering chemistries of materials
- Assist with process spec and quality manual maintenance
- Updating material spec lists and filing copies
- Assisting with internal/external audit activities
Experience/Skills/Education:
- Completion of post-secondary program in administrative discipline or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in Quality Assurance/Control
- 1-2 years experience working in a QC/QA Industrial administrative role
- Above average knowledge of Industrial technical terms in manufacturing and quality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Keyboarding speed and accuracy
- Proficient with computers: Word, Excel, Outlook and general Windows operating systems
- Must be able to multitask: including dealing with and managing multiple interruptions
- Must be able to handle the pressure of deadlines (e.g. month end), uneven work flow and changing priorities
- Quality Inspector, Quality Technician and/or Quality Engineering Certification preferred
