Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the organization
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
- Process payroll and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero and Sage for bookkeeping tasks
- Prepare and submit bank reconciliations on a regular basis
Skills:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role
- Familiarity with accounting software like Xero, Sage, or similar programs
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and analysis
- Ability to work with payroll systems and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
