Production Support Services Representative (GRD)
The Production Support Services Rep, reporting directly to the Production Support Team Leader, is responsible for the timely processing and administration of incoming special orders, including but not limited to the scheduling of orders with design, processing of EREQ’s, and timely generation of quotes pertaining to those orders. The Production Support Services Rep is also responsible for addressing and the administration of incoming quote requests, invoicing, debit/credit, as well as double checking of work produced by other team members for accuracy.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

Strive to attain key metrics as indicated by Team Leader.

Provide assistance to co-workers / reps / account managers in a prompt, professional manner.

Openly communicate and work cohesively with immediate team members and Team Leader(s).

Ensure incoming requests are addressed appropriately and in a timely manner.
-
Ensure outgoing responses are accurate, timely and error free.
-
Verify other team members’ work for accuracy as required.
-
Review incoming quote requests and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
-
Communicate with production to determine build / assembly process times.
-
Maintenance of incoming quote request queue (Wpg quotes).
-
Direct inquiries to appropriate departments when required.
-
Consult with Reps, Account Managers, personnel in other departments or Production Lead Hands / Cell Leaders to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Sorting order into appropriate groupings, checking freight charges, inputting data to invoices.
-
Collect daily/weekly product figures and enter into reports.
-
Filing and administrative duties.
-
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal Candidate for this position will have:

Minimum grade 12 education.
-
Post-Secondary Education preferred.
-
Minimum 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to read product drawings.
-
Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Problem solving abilities.
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

High attention to detail.
-
Ability to multitask.

Ability to prioritize workloads.

Ability to function in a team setting.

Ability to work independently.
