Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling on jobsites, networking, and following up on warm leads.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing suitable equipment solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Negotiate agreements and close sales.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions using the CRM system.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote products and services.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in an Outside Sales role
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field is an asset.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-player with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid G driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
