We are looking to fill the position of seasonal Guest Services Agent out of our Calgary office. You smile and warmly greet our guests as their first point of contact; nothing is too much trouble for you. You prioritize guest experience and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and a positive attitude. This is a Full-Time Seasonal Position beginning immediately running until Spring 2025
You Will:
Act as a first point of contact for all customer service inquiries at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Calgary office
Uphold an excellent in office guest experience and atmosphere
Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, through email, and live chat
Address customer service-related questions and concerns, escalating to the appropriate Guest Services leader as needed
Create and update customer profiles, process season pass requests, and issue season passes
Handle cash including a daily float, as well as process debit and credit card transactions
Handle all inbound and outbound office mail
Promote and sell all products and experiences available at RCR Resorts
Ensure daily communication between team members and various departments (Food & Beverage, Mountain Operations, Retail & Rental, etc.) to provide accurate and up to date information to guests about resort services and products
Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the RCR Employee Handbook
Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You Have:
Previous work experience in a customer service role required, preferably in an office setting
Previous cash-handling experience
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems – an asset
Previous experience in a mountain or resort setting - an asset
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Ability to work in a guest facing role (remote work not available)
Ability to complete computer work for long periods of time and to lift 50 pounds
A passion for sports and the outdoors
