Job Title: Caregiver

Our family is excited to welcome aboard an experienced and reliable caregiver/Personal Support Worker (PSW) who will bring joy and warmth into our matriarch's daily life.

Daily exercise routines and companion care are the heart of this role, and this will create cherished moments.

Excellent communication skills are essential for fostering a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities will include some meal preparation and laundry. As the primary caregiver, you'll find joy in meal prep, filling the dishwasher, and keeping our kitchen sparkling clean.

Light housekeeping tasks, from dusting to sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, and brightening up counters. Kitchen cleaning, with occasional trash disposal, sheet changing, bed making, and playful organizing.

Assist with activities of daily living, including help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as needed

A professional cleaner takes care of most deep cleaning, leaving you to add your sparkle!

Experience and Qualifications:

· 3 years of experience in a similar private family setting or healthcare / long term care environment

· Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to handle challenging behaviors associated with cognitive decline

· Completion of a recognized program for personal support worker.

· First Aid, CPR Certificate

Compensation:

Join us and earn $25/hr plus a healthy signing bonus, with the opportunity for paid training if needed. Plus $2,000 signing bonus.

Schedule: Brighten up our days with your presence during day shifts, holidays, Monday to Friday, morning shifts, and sprinkle some joy on weekends as required.
