What You’ll Be Doing
Assembly of manufactured and purchased components to meet the specifications as indicated by assembly drawings. Assemblies may include complex arrangements requiring fitting and adjustment to meet close tolerances.
Complete assembly, installation, and validation of specifications for machines of varying size and complexity. Review jobs before assembly starts and collaborate with engineering to obtain design clarification as required.
Responsible for mentoring (including feedback on skills and behavior) and providing guidance on safe work practices for less experienced MTBIs and apprentices. Assist and provide guidance to teams of assemblers and others as necessary.
Install equipment on the customer site, including training of customer on equipment and support through SAT.

Able to work without direction guided by general instructions related to objectives, priorities, and requirements.
Offer guidance and leadership to teams of assemblers and other team members when necessary.
Key Requirements
Ministry Trades Certificate of Qualification and 3 years of experience or proven competency
Basic Shop Safety Rules and Knowledge of duties under OHSA & WSIB
Must have a valid passport and driver’s license, as well as the ability to travel to customer sites both locally and internationally.
Must be available to travel for periods of up to 2 weeks
Additional hours may be required for scheduled or unscheduled onsite customer service on evenings or weekends.
