Sales and Marketing Specialist

-$18-20/hr base wage plus commission

Must Haves:

· Some knowledge and experience in the sign industry

· Innovative & Imaginative

· Attention to detail and a great communicator

· Excellent telephone skills

· MS Office fluency

· Sales and Customer Service experience required

· A self-starter, quick on your feet and well organized

· A creative problem solver

· Thrives in a team environment

· Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw would be an asset

· Willing to make cold calls as required

The Sales and Marketing Specialist role includes the following:

· Accept responsibility for growth of the business by increasing the customer base and growing the revenue of the business

· Manage the marketing activities of the business, including social media, web site changes, monthly marketing emails to clients and other activities

· Respond to inbound customer inquiries that come by phone, email and from the web site.

· Design and price appropriate solutions that are then presented to the client

· Prospect for new opportunities – construction projects, major events, trade shows, retail operations, among others

· Contact existing and prospective customers within the territory by phone, email and other means such as networking, sponsorship, etc., establishing appointments for sales calls

· Co-ordinate and interact with the production team to meet customer expectations

· Maintain the CRM database including contact information and ongoing communication with customers and prospects along with an annual calendar of opportunities

· Manage the daily, weekly and monthly marketing functions

· Learn design programs and develop production skills to assist as required with in the shop environment.

Success will be measured by revenue and profitability growth

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
