Order Picker/Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment.

Duties:
- Operate a variety of equipment including clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Safely and efficiently load and unload products from trucks or containers
- Verify the accuracy of orders by comparing them to the provided documentation
- Ensure that all picked items are properly labeled and packaged for shipping
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals

Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
- Familiarity with order picking processes and procedures
- Proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers
- Basic math skills to accurately count and calculate quantities
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment is a plus

- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
