Supreme Steel is currently looking for safety conscious, quality driven CNC Operators at our facility in Acheson, AB. These are full time, unionized positions for our day and afternoon shift, working 4 10 hours shifts, Monday to Thursday.
The CNC Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of the CNC Beam line and/or Plasma Table. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing quality parts according to blueprints and company quality standards; using cranes and forklifts to move steel beams. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working on a CNC Plasma and/or CNC Beam line machine and experience working with different grades of steel plate. The individual will work in a way quality of work and safety are top priorities, while keeping their work area clean.
With a proven ability to read drawings and understand materials organization, the successful candidate will also possess basic computer skills, strong communication and time management skills and the ability to work in a fast paced work environment. The CNC Operator will have demonstrated ability to gain knowledge quickly and follow safety policies and procedures while promoting a safe work environment.

Successful candidates will have a valid driver’s license will be required to pass pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Testing, as well as Physical Fitness to Work Mobility Testing as a condition of their employment.
