SW Sports & Entertainment (SWSE) is the organizational structure of the company which owns and operates the Sudbury Wolves Hockey Club, the Sudbury Five Basketball Club, the Sudbury Spartans Football Club, Greater Sports Apparel, Out of Home Sudbury Advertisement, the Food & Beverage organization that serves events at the arena and the promotion company that seeks to attract live shows and events.

The SWSE teams deliver the best sports entertainment in Greater Sudbury. SWSE consists of innovative and dedicated team members ready to take the best entertainment brands in the city to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary role of this position to assist the Assistant Manager with direct oversight of food and beverage clerks at the Sudbury Arena.

• Ensure that we have clean/organized work areas.
• Assist staff with taking orders on a POS system/collecting payment for orders.
• Preparing the food service area for the night which includes food preparation/inventory.
• Provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work.
• Conduct inventory counts in the assigned area daily.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skill Requirements:

• Smart Serve is considered a major asset.
• Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Outstanding listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Honesty and professional integrity.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment with a proactive positive attitude.
• Ability to work unpredictable hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
