Dishwasher

The Bohemian Cafe is seeking a dedicated and hardworking dishwasher to join our team. As a dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen. Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently.
• Operate dishwashing machinery and ensure it is running effectively.
• Hand-wash items as needed to ensure all kitchenware is properly cleaned.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area.
• Ensure all surfaces and floors are clean and free of debris.
• Ensure that kitchen tools and equipment are readily available for use
• Monitor levels of dishwashing supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with team members and respond promptly to requests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is an asset but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
