The Pet Shoppe is looking to add a new, part-time addition to our sales team! This could lead into full time hours.
As a small, family owned pet store we are devoted to providing the best possible experience to our new and returning customers. You must be someone who has high energy, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to learn quickly. In addition to serving our customers and helping them find the best possible product to suit their needs, you will be required to answer phone calls daily and book appointments for our grooming department. You will count, sort, price and display new products that come in. You must be organized, responsible and able to work independently as well as with a team.
We are looking for someone who:
-Has a passion for animals and animal care
-Is friendly and easy going
-Is available to work a flexible schedule of days, evenings and weekends
-Retail sales experience (especially in the pet industry) is an asset
-Can lift up to 50lbs
-Comfortable handling feeder insects and frozen rats/mice
-Due to the nature of the position and the high volume of applicants, In-person applicants are preferred. Applicants applying without attached resumes will be declined.
