Carpenter Needed

Seeking motivated and experienced RED SEAL CARPENTER to join our construction team building customized outdoor living spaces in the Lower Mainland

Tiem Builders Ltd is a custom designer and builder of sunrooms, decks, and covers offering many solutions to extend the usage of patio space for our clients. We work in both the residential and commercial space.

- WHO ARE YOU? -

• Experienced journeyman carpenter or skilled builder with experience in our type of projects.
• Minimum 3 years carpentry experience
• Experience in Lead Hand / Foreman - an asset
• Are comfortable working from structural and architectural drawings
• Familiar with the BC Building Code - an asset
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working hard
• Are creative and have great problem-solving skills
• Are detail-oriented and take pride in your work
• Are self-motivated and can work in a self-directed environment
• Are able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Have a full set of tools
• Have your own reliable vehicle
• Must be able to handle the physical aspects of the job

- NOT YOU? - WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR 1 ENTRY LEVEL CANDIDATE WHO WANTS TO LEARN ON THE JOB

• Min. 1 years experience
• With any of the following: Assisted in building, erecting forms or form related work / Assisted in framing houses, erected walls and building roofs / Assisted in finishing houses, installing doors, windows, cabinets, etc
• Must have your own reliable vehicle and a valid drivers license
• Must be able to handle the physical aspects of the job

Compensation & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Position is based on a 40-hour work week Monday to Friday in the Lower Mainland, BC

Salary

• Red Seal based on experience ranges from $40 per hour
• Level 1 - 4 starts based on experience ranges from $23-$35 per hour

Group Health Benefits:

• Offered after 30 days - Company pays 50%
