Position
Shipper Receiver
Location:
Leduc, AB
Job Description:
The Shipper Receiver ensures shipments are processed in a timely manner for outgoing shipments to customers. The Shipper Receiver works with other Supply Chain and Manufacturing department members to process shipments for departure by the appropriate shipment mode.
Responsibilities include:
•Assemblers orders, prepares goods for shipment.
•Records shipment data, including weight, charges, etc..
•Receives and unpacks materials and supplies upon arrival.
•Complete shipping and receiving reports.
•Prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments.
•Communicate with carriers for scheduling pickups and deliveries.
•Pull inventory and stock finish goods.
•Deliver shipment arrivals to local departments.
•Maintain proper housekeeping and abide by all safety policies.
•Perform other duties, as necessary.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Skills:
Intermediate experience with computers and Microsoft software. Attention to detail and organized. Able to follow written and oral instructions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Must maintain a clean driving record. May be required to bend, stoop, sit and walk. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass a forklift certification test and work in a shop environment with elevated noise.
