ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
We are currently looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join our team. We are a fast-paced and growing company seeking a positive, results orientated team-player who enjoys providing creative customer solutions. The candidate should have a passion for creativity and style trends. Furthermore, they should exhibit a keen eye for design and be able to make recommendations that will help our customers get outfitted with appropriately decorated, brand-elevating merch. Corporate apparel and promotional product industry experience is an asset. This position is full time Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 and some flexibility is possible.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role of Account Executives includes promoting, selling and securing orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. You will be required to assist existing/prospective customers in selecting the items best suited for their needs. Interactions with customers will be by phone, email, in person meetings and at events.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers
- Make telephone calls, email communication and in-person presentations to existing and prospective customers
- Exhibit a track record of growth and achieve stated goals
- Log all customer communication in our CRM system
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and determining their potential
- Develop clear and effective presentations/ quotations for current and prospective customers
- Assist customers with product knowledge and placing orders
- Supply management with updates on customer needs, issues, interests, and potential for new products and services
- Keep informed of new products, advertising and promotional trends in order to advise current and prospective customers
- Process orders through our operating system
- Manage back-orders and communication with customers regarding tracking and other aspects of their order
- Merchandising research
- Work closely with all team members
- Other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- Marketing or Sales diploma or degree
- 2 years previous sales and customer service experience
- Industry specific experience is an asset but not required
- Superior computer skills with an excellent grasp of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge with using a CRM an asset
- Exhibits confidence, superior communication, organization and customer relations skills
- Able to perform mathematical calculations for the purposes of effective pricing
- Detail, analytical and results oriented
- Ability to use sound judgement, quick learner and a self-starter
- High level of professionalism with the ability to multi-task while prioritizing workload
- Able to work under pressure
- Fluent in English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
