This full-time position has a monthly salary range of $4,992.38 to $7,211.85. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and achievements. This is a single-term contract with an end date of December 31, 2024.
Location - This role is in-person at North Campus Edmonton.

The English Language School, Faculty of Education, University of Alberta, supports international students in meeting the English Proficiency Requirements for both Undergraduate and Graduate admissions.
Position
The English Language School at the Faculty of Education, University of Alberta invites applications for English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Instructors for Fall term 2023. This position involves the responsibility of instruction of one 0-credit course (Academic Casual, Term Excluded) in English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at the University of Alberta. The contact hours of instruction are 16 hours per week plus office hours, Monday through Friday, over a thirteen-week period.
The contact hours for the instruction of an EAP 136 course section will be 08:00 to 12:00 or 12:30 to 4:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (in person).

Qualifications
Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), or Applied Linguistics; and recent experience teaching in university teaching at the undergraduate level.
