The role operates in the area of procurement and interfaces with various project disciplines in the course of the procurement processes including the initial phase of the need definition, the request for quotation phase and the subcontract and change orders preparation
- Operates within the established procurement policies, procedures, systems developed for the OLS Project.
- Prepare the commercial part of tender documents for procurement of subcontractors/work packages including: Terms and conditions of contract and price schedules
- Receives from and coordinate with the technical lead regarding the technical part of the tender documents for procurement of subcontractors/suppliers including Scope of Works and schedules
- Received and assess subcontractors quotes with technical lead
- Assist for the Ethics and Compliance due diligences as required
- Prepare comparative charts, executive summaries and recommendation to award
- Participate to kick off meetings with subcontractors
- Participate to the hand-over of the executed agreements to the subcontract management team
- Keep the department sharepoint and logs updated with the corresponding procurement documents.
- Uses Project procurement tools (Building Connected, ASite, Dalux, bespoke excel trackers etc..)
- Participates to the commercial negotiations with awarded subcontractors and vendors
- Review prices against approved budgets before award
- Participates to the negotiation of the contracts, including terms and conditions with the support of legal team
- Santé : Receives the vendors H&S pre-assessment forms and coordinates with H&S until approval/rejection.
- Sécurité : Receives the vendors H&S pre-assessment forms and coordinates with H&S until approval/rejection.
- Environnement : Ensure that the Environmental requirements of the Project are part of the Agreement through dedicated contract exhibits. Assess bids against environmental criteria when applicable.
- Master's degree in engineering or supply
- Experience in the construction industry (an asset) or international supply
- Proficient in English (all communication, written or verbal are in English) - MANDATORY
- Proficient in Office 365 (Power Point, Word, Excel)
- Team player with Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly motivated with ability to effectively manage time
To be eligible for the VIE program, you must be:
