Optician/Student-Optician

We are looking for a Full-time Optician/part-time Student Optician to work at our Whitby location of Vision Advantage Optical. We have been serving the Durham region since 1984. Next door to us is Durham Optometric Clinic, owned and operated by another family member. We are a full-scope practice which handles glasses, sunglasses and Contact Lenses. Role & Responsibilities

• Optical Retail sales
• Assisting patients with frame selection
• processing Glasses/Sunglasses orders
• packaging and sorting mail/orders that come in and out of the office (Postal courier comes directly to the office)
• Contact lens teaches
• Contact lens knowledge
• Assisting with keeping the office space clean/tidy

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 7:00pm

Friday - 9:00am - 6:00pm

Saturday - 9:00am - 5:00pm
