Pawn Broker

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Pawn Broker to join our team. As a Pawn Broker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, evaluating items for pawn or sale, and conducting retail sales transactions. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Evaluate items brought in for pawn or sale, determining their value and authenticity - Negotiate loan terms with customers, ensuring compliance with company policies - Process pawn transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system - Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including item descriptions and customer information - Assist customers with retail sales, providing product information and recommendations - Handle cash transactions, including counting and verifying cash amounts - Maintain a clean and organized store environment - Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service Skills: - Retail sales experience, preferably in a pawn shop or similar industry - Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers - Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English - Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to evaluate items for value and authenticity - Technical sales knowledge is a plus We offer competitive pay rates and opportunities for career growth within our organization. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
