Job: Dental Technician (denture focused)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Dental Technician to join our team and contribute their expertise to our growing Denture practice.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fabricate dental prosthetics and appliances based on denturist prescriptions and patient specifications.
- Perform denture setup, wax-up, and repairs.
- Prepare plaster/stone models, molds and mountings using Stratos and hinge articulators.
- Prepare wax bite-blocks and custom/impression trays.
- Trim, polish and buff dentures accurately.
- Re-line and re-base dentures.
- Fit, adjust, and repair dentures.
- Construct full, implant and partial dentures (cast partials and acrylic partials).
- Bend wrought wire clasps and braided wire for acrylic dentures.
- Invest and process complete, partial and implant dentures independently.
- Collaborate with the denturist to ensure accurate design and fit of dentures.
- Read and interpret dental prescriptions and patient specifications to determine the design and materials needed for dental prosthetics.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure the highest level of precision and accuracy in dental restorations.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Work in a safe manner.
- Reliable commute to lab.
- 3 years of experience (preferred).
