Job Posting for L02 - UI/UX at Acuity Knowledge Partners
Job Purpose
We are looking for a user-experience (UX) designer able to understand our business requirements and any technical limitations, as well as be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing.
Key Responsibilities
Research Phase:
User research to bring forward new findings, learnings and ideas to simplify user interaction and human factors experience
Collaborate with product, engineering, data and research to influence the product vision, roadmap and goals via design.
Collect and analyse user (persona/roles) behaviour through internal interviews, field/customer visits, ethnography, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs and online experiments (A/B testing).
Design & Technical Phase:
Strong experience in UI, UX Design.
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
A portfolio that showcases your interactive and visual design skills.
Knowledge about Figma, AdobeXd, Photoshop, Illustrator, Visual design, and wire-framing tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to listen, be proactive at addressing feedback, represent and advocate for UI/UX and users.
From researching and problem-solving to detailed UI and interaction design
Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensure product excellence throughout the product development and implementation process.
Define design direction in close collaboration with Designers, Researchers, and Writers to define the approach, tone, personality, ease of use, end-to-end flows.
Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
