The Intern for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for designing and development of the Next Gen IoT solutions and Remote Software Update solutions for all next generation Beckman Instruments.

This position is part of the Systems Software and Automation (SSA) located in Bangalore and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand the overall requirements of the product/platform and specifically for the assigned project under the guidance of a mentor.
  • Develop and test Software as per the product architecture and requirements.
  • Code and unit testing of the feature/modules including appropriate design reviews and code inspections.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Currently in school working to obtain a Masters degree in: Computer Science & Engg (CSE), Computer Science & Information Security (CSIS), Computer Networking & Engg (CNE), Software Engg (SE) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with B.Sc Computer Science or Electronics.

  • Good understanding of OOPs concept using any programming language like Java, C
  • Good knowledge in SQL
  • Web development using HTML, JavaScript, CSS

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • PL/SQL, Stored Procedures is plus
  • Understanding and, if possible, experience with Relational databases, table structures, indexes is a plus
