SDS2 Steel Detailer

Candidate Profile:

• Should be Diploma/B.E. in Civil/Mechanical engineering from a reputed institute.

• Must have at least 2 to 4 years of experience in detailing of steel structures

• Capable of reading and understanding all design drawings, like Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Civil.

• Should be well versed with SDS/2 detailing part. Additional software knowledge and exposure to American codes is an advantage.

• Must have excellent Time Management skills and have the ability to meet tight schedule

• Should have good verbal and written communication skill.

• Should be a good team player

Job Summary:

• Should know to detail E plans, Sections & member details using SDS/2.

• Should have good knowledge in AISC standards for detailing.

• Knowing miscellaneous structural (stairs, rails, ladders etc.) detailing is the added advantage.

• Should have the experience to provide reports. Like Bill of material, field bolts summary, CNC reports etc.

• Should have focus on Schedule, Quality and Productivity.

• Should be familiar with all SDS/2 set ups for detailing related options.
