The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations within the sales department. This role involves managing sales-related documentation, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing administrative support to help achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
Assist the sales team with lead generation, sales presentations, and follow-up communications.
Prepare and manage sales orders, quotations, and contracts.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate processing of sales transactions.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain and update sales records, customer databases, and CRM systems.
Prepare sales reports, track sales metrics, and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations.
Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and handle correspondence for the sales team.
Customer Service:
Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance) to address customer needs and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Coordination and Communication:
Facilitate communication between the sales team and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
Organize and coordinate sales meetings, training sessions, and events.
Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvements and work with the sales team to implement effective solutions.
Assist in the development and implementation of sales policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in a sales or business development environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic internet and social media handling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Language Proficiency:
English, Bengali, Hindi and Assamese preferred
