Job Title: Site Supervisor

Job Summary: The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various teams, monitoring progress, ensuring safety compliance, and resolving any issues that arise during construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Supervision:
Supervise daily site activities to ensure work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers to ensure smooth workflow.
Quality Control:
Inspect work to ensure quality standards and adherence to project specifications.
Identify and rectify any defects or issues promptly.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols.
Progress Monitoring:
Track project progress against the schedule.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to the Project Manager.
Resource Management:
Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site to avoid delays.
Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials.
Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on the site.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, inspection reports, and material usage.
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and submitted to the relevant parties.
Client Interaction:
Communicate with clients regarding project progress and address any concerns.
Provide site tours and updates to clients as needed.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
Skills:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in construction safety and management are a plus.
Working Conditions:
Must be willing to work on-site at various construction locations.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
May require working extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
