Role Overview:
The Content and Multimedia Specialist at Goodera will be a key member of the India Volunteering - Category team, responsible for enhancing the team's communication and engagement through high-quality content, multimedia and research. This role requires a talented individual with strong skills in content writing, video creation, editing, and the ability to support event research. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, creative, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all communication collaterals are impactful and aligned with Goodera's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Writing & Research:
- Develop engaging and compelling content for various communication materials, including newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, volunteer guides, and event summaries.
- Ensure all written content is consistent with Goodera’s branding and messaging standards.
- Conduct thorough in-depth research to support content creation, ensuring accuracy and relevance to social impact and development.
2. Video Creation and Editing:
- Produce high-quality videos to showcase volunteer events, activities, and overall impact.
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products suitable for various platforms.
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate multimedia elements into presentations and promotional materials.
3. Glossary and Collaterals Management:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive glossary of terms used in communication collaterals.
- Ensure all materials are up-to-date and accurate, and communicate the intended message effectively.
- Coordinate with the lead to ensure all content and collateral meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in content writing, video production, multimedia editing, and research. Experience in the nonprofit sector or corporate volunteering programs is a plus.
- Skills:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software will be a plus.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
