1. Support Curriculum Implementation

  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the curriculum as guided by the Academic Coordinator.
  • Help in organizing and distributing educational materials and resources to teachers.
  • Ensure that classroom activities align with the academic objectives and standards.

2. Teacher Assistance and Coordination

  • Provide support to teachers in planning lessons, developing instructional strategies, and managing classroom activities.
  • Assist in coordinating teacher schedules, class assignments, and substitute arrangements.
  • Facilitate communication between teachers and the Academic Coordinator regarding academic needs and concerns.

3. Student Support and Monitoring

  • Monitor student progress and assist in identifying students who may need additional academic support.
  • Coordinate with teachers and support staff to implement intervention strategies for struggling students.
  • Help organize tutoring sessions, study groups, or remedial classes as needed.

4. Assessment and Evaluation

  • Assist in the preparation, administration, and evaluation of assessments and exams.
  • Help in collecting and analyzing student performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the Academic Coordinator in preparing reports on student achievement and curriculum effectiveness.

5. Administrative Duties

  • Maintain and update academic records, including attendance, grades, and student progress reports.
  • Assist in managing the academic calendar
  • Handle routine administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence, and documentation related to academic activities.

6. Communication and Liaison

  • Serve as a point of contact between students, parents, and teachers for academic-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting parent-teacher conferences and other academic meetings.
  • Communicate important academic updates and information to students, parents, and faculty.

7. Professional Development Support

  • Help organize professional development workshops and training sessions for teachers and staff.
  • Assist in identifying and arranging for external resources or speakers for faculty development.

8. Resource Management

  • Assist in managing and distributing academic resources, including textbooks, teaching aids, and technological tools.
  • Ensure that classrooms are equipped with necessary materials and that equipment is functioning properly.
