AutoCAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create 2D and 3D designs for interior spaces, including floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections.

2. Develop and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

3. Collaborate with interior designers, architects, and contractors to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

4. Select and specify materials, finishes, and furniture for interior spaces.

5. Conduct site measurements and surveys to ensure accurate design implementation.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve design issues and errors.

7. Stay current with industry trends, software, and building codes.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD software (2D and 3D)

2. Strong understanding of interior design principles, spatial reasoning, and color theory

3. Excellent drafting and drawing skills

4. Attention to detail and accuracy

5. Good communication and collaboration skills

6. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects

7. Knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability principles

Deliverables:

1. 2D and 3D design drawings

2. Design presentations and visualizations

3. Material and furniture specifications

4. Construction documentation and permits

Software Skills:

1. AutoCAD (2D and 3D)

2. SketchUp

3. Revit

4. Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
