Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and layouts that align with their vision.
• Space Planning: Create detailed space plans that optimize the use of available space, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.
• Material Selection: Source and select materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories that meet the project’s design requirements and budget constraints.
• 3D Modeling & Rendering: Utilize design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.) to create 3D models and renderings that accurately depict the proposed design.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is realized throughout the construction process. Monitor progress and address any design-related issues that arise.
• Client Presentation: Present design concepts, plans, and material selections to clients, incorporating their feedback to refine the design.
• Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess the progress of the project, ensure design specifications are being followed, and make any necessary adjustments.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and other documentation required for the execution of the design.
• Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Enscape.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and a strong attention to detail.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
