Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and layouts that align with their vision.
Space Planning: Create detailed space plans that optimize the use of available space, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.
Material Selection: Source and select materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories that meet the project’s design requirements and budget constraints.
3D Modeling & Rendering: Utilize design software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, etc.) to create 3D models and renderings that accurately depict the proposed design.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is realized throughout the construction process. Monitor progress and address any design-related issues that arise.
Client Presentation: Present design concepts, plans, and material selections to clients, incorporating their feedback to refine the design.
Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess the progress of the project, ensure design specifications are being followed, and make any necessary adjustments.
Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and other documentation required for the execution of the design.
Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
3 years of experience in interior design, preferably in residential or commercial projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Enscape.
Strong knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creative thinking and a strong attention to detail.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
