Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Support Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience in customer support, sales, and lead generation. The intern will be responsible for making outbound and inbound calls, generating and converting leads into sales, and contributing to the overall success of our customer support efforts.
Responsibilities:
Outbound and Inbound Calls:
Conduct outbound calls to potential leads and existing customers to promote products and services.
Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products and services.
Lead Generation:
Identify and generate new business opportunities through proactive research and outreach.
Maintain and update lead databases, ensuring accurate and timely information.
Lead Conversion:
Engage with leads to understand their needs and effectively pitch products or services to convert them into sales.
Follow up with leads and customers to nurture relationships and close sales.
Customer Interaction:
Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Record and document interactions and transactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Reporting and Analysis:
Assist in tracking and analyzing call metrics, lead generation activities, and sales performance.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve processes and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Basic understanding of sales and customer support principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM systems is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
